    The background and significance of the pharmaceutical care for asthmatic patients in outpatient department of Peking University First Hospital were introduced in this paper. Particular emphasis was put on the model, contents and current achievements of the special pharmaceutical care for asthmatic patients. The current problems, solutions and prospect of the special pharmaceutical care were also discussed.
