Printing and dyeing wastewater has the features of deep colour and large toxicity. The organic pollutants in the printing and dyeing wastewater is high content and refractory. In this article,research progress in treatment of printing and dyeing wastewater by catalytic oxidation method was introduced,such as photo-catalytic oxidation, chlorine dioxide oxidation, electrochemical oxidation, Fenton reagent oxidation. Then these catalytic oxidation methods for printing and dyeing wastewater treatment were evaluated. And development trend of catalytic oxidation methods for printing and dyeing wastewater treatment in the future was discussed.
