回顾近年来我国城市供热管道爆炸的典型案例，从热负荷计算不准确、管道连接混乱、乱用阀门及补偿器、管道中发生水机现象、管道埋深没达到最小覆土深度、管道超年超年限使用、管道保温层受损、自然灾害导致爆管，总共8个方面分析了供热管道爆炸的根源。结合现行的行业标准及现场实际经验，从开发商精选设计院和施工单位、设计人员避免设计不足、采购人员合理选择设备、施工人员规范施工、供热部门强化运行操作和管理，总共5个方面提出预防供城市供热管道爆炸措施，得出一切城市供热管道爆炸都可以预防的结论。
