If not well handled, such medical disputes might cause severe damage on the reputation of the hospital and the healthcare system. Therefore, it is of necessity to analyze and summarize the characteristics of medical disputes in the orthopedics department and explore their patterns to provide early warning and prevention on key links of medical disputes to prevent their reoccurrence.
