According to the analysis of the characteristics of the off-grid wind power source, the paper proposed a variable membrane desalination system adapting to off-grid wind power. In this system, desalination scale, process selection, Power components set, membrane element sectionalization and output regulation was introduced. The study suggested the application of off-grid wind-powered membrane desalination system and its production scales.
