采用常规石蜡切片技术，对人工养殖斑鳠Mystus guttatus的性腺发育进行了初步研究。结果表明：人工养殖斑鳠2龄左右时达到性成熟，繁殖期为6-8月；卵巢发育为不同步型，同一期卵巢内存在多个时相的卵母细胞，繁殖期的卵巢性腺成熟系数( GSI )为(1.28±0.12)%；精巢外形细长，内部发育良好，精子发育过程中的各阶段细胞形态清晰可见，繁殖期的精巢GSI为(0.11±0.04)%。研究表明，斑鳠个体性腺发育不同步，属于一次产卵类型。

The gonadal development in cultured Mystus guttatus was histologically studied by paraffin section tech-nique. The results showed that the cultured fish had maturity at two years old, and spawned from June to August per year, only once a year. The ovary was developed non-synchronously, different developmental oocytes in the same stage. The gonado-somatic index (GSI) of (1. 28±0. 12)% was observed in the females at reproductive sea-sons. The testis had slender shape and developed well. Various developmental spermatozoa were observed clearly, with GSI of (0. 11±0. 04)% in the male.
