土舍阶层是土司社会的权贵阶层。容美土舍阶层由办事舍人、土官舍人、护印舍人、把事舍人、普通舍人五种类型构成。容美土司的土舍不仅来源于王朝钦定大姓，也来源于因婚姻缔结、功绩晋升的异姓。土舍阶层是容美土司社会治理、对外交往和文化学习的先导和承载者，也是推动土司社会发展的关键力量。
토사계층시토사사회적권귀계층。용미토사계층유판사사인、토관사인、호인사인、파사사인、보통사인오충류형구성。용미토사적토사불부래원우왕조흠정대성，야래원우인혼인체결、공적진승적이성。토사계층시용미토사사회치리、대외교왕화문화학습적선도화승재자，야시추동토사사회발전적관건역량。
Tushe was part of the noble class in societies dominated by the native hereditary officials. Tushe of Rongmei native hereditary officials consisted of five types: Servant Tushe, Officer Tushe, Seal-guarding Tushe, Manager Tushe and Ordinary Tushe. Tushe in Rongmei area originated not only from the Great Surnames conferred by imperial court, but also from other surnames through marriage and merit promotion. Tushe class was forerunners and bearers in social governance, external communication and culture learning in Rongmei. Tushe was the key force to promote the social development in areas ruled by the native hereditary officials.
