中叶素是近年来发现的一种新的心血管活性肽，是降钙素基因相关肽超家族新成员，其对血管、心脏、肾脏、激素调节、神经系统等均具有广泛的生物学效应，因而受到广泛的关注。该文对中叶素的生物学效应的作用机制进行归纳总结，为中叶素作为治疗靶点应用于临床研究提供一定的理论基础。

Intermedin is a new type of cardiovascular peptides discovered in recent years,also a new member of the superfamily of calci-tonin gene-related peptide,which has a wide range of biological effects on blood vessels,heart,kidneys,hormonal regulation,nervous system etc.That’s the very reason intermedin gains widespread attention.This paper summarized the biological effects of the mid-prime mechanism,providing a theoretical basis for the intermedin as a therapeutic target in clinical studies.
