脉冲压缩技术有效地解决了雷达作用距离和分辨率之间的矛盾,因而在雷达系统中得到了广泛的应用。经典理论表明,具有脉冲压缩性质的雷达信号往往具有大的时宽带宽乘积,脉压信号的形式不同,则针对同一目标的脉压输出亦不相同。在 MATLAB仿真环境下,研究比较了两种不同的雷达信号---线性调频(LFM)信号和双曲调频(HFM)信号,分别从时频特性、静止和运动目标回波的脉压输出、发射和接收信号的瞬时频差以及多普勒时变性质等方面,分析了这两种信号脉压性能的差异。

Pulse compression technology can effectively solve the contradiction between the radar range and resolution,which has been widely used in radar system.According to the classical theory explanation, the radar signal which has pulse compression property has large time-bandwidth product.For the different forms,there are different pulse compression outputs of the same target.Under the MATLAB simulation en-vironment,this thesis studies and compares two kinds of radar signal-linear frequency modulated(LFM) signal and hyperbolic frequency modulated(HFM)signal.It analyzes the difference between the pulse com-pression performances of the two kinds of signal respectively from the perspectives of time-frequency charac-teristics,the instantaneous frequency difference of transmitting and receiving signals,the pulse compression outputs of static and moving target echoes,and Doppler time-varying properties.
