The paper presents the high energy-efficient air-conditioning system design for the new project of an auto parts enterprise. The project utilizing much energy efficiency techniques, such as ground-source heat pump, chilled water storage, heat recovery and so on. The central air-conditioning sys-tem uses water-cooled screw units, ground-source heat pump and chilled water storage to provide cooling for workshop and office building in summer. Meanwhile, the ground-source heat pump, die-casting ma-chine cooling water heat recovery and melting furnace exhaust gas heat recovery are used as the heat source to provide heating in winter. Compared with the conventional air-conditioning system taking advan-tage of water chillers and boilers, it saves about 201 000 RMB of the air-conditioning operation cost and transfers 152 000 kWh of the peak power.
