目的评价PBL教学法相对于LBL教学法对医学留学生教学效果的影响。方法采用Meta分析方法,通过计算机检索中国学术期刊全文数据库,万方医药数据库和维普中文科技期刊数据库资料,收集2003~2013年发表在国内各医学教育期刊上有关PBL教学法在医学留学生教学中应用的随机对照试验研究文献,按照纳入和排除标准选择文献,并进行质量评价,使用RevMan4.2.2软件进行分析。结果共纳入文献10篇,质量评价总体较低;Meta分析结果显示,运用PBL教学法能明显提高对医学留学生的教学效果,两者之间的差异有统计学意义(WMD=12.68,95%CI为[8.68、16.49],约0.01);纳入文献存在一定的发表性偏倚。结论PBL教学法在对医学留学生教学中,有一定的提高综合考试能力的作用,值得在今后的教学实践中借鉴。

Objective To evaluate the teaching effect of problem-based learning (PBL) versus lecture-based learning (LBL) on international medical students. Methods Meta-Analysis is adopted in this essay. Computer retrieval was conducted to search for studies published since the year 2003 on randomized control ed trial of adapting PBL in teaching international medical students. Articles were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria and the quality of included studies was critical y evaluated. Data were analyzed by using RevMan4.2.2 software. Results 10 articles were included and was of low quality overal . Meta-Analysis showed that the teaching ef ect was significantly improved by PBL and there was significant dif erence between PBL and the traditional method (WMD=12.68,95%CI [8.68、16.49],P<0.01). Included articles exposed a publication bias. Conclusion PBL presented its advantage in enhancing students' abilities to pass comprehensive examinations thus it is worth recognition in teaching practice with international medical students.
