Based on the new topic of"higher quality of employ-ment"proposed by the report of the 18th CPC National Congress, this paper elaborated this issue from four aspects, including the connotation of higher quality of employment, the evaluation index system determined by the three dimensions of individual, enter-prise and university, the factors affecting the higher quality of employment of industrial application-oriented universities, and ways of realizing higher quality of employment.
