A simple introduction of traditional charged particle identification methods such as ΔE-E and time-of-flight techniques was conducted .Having described the principle and development of the pulse shape analy -sis, a review and summary of different methods as well as introduction of several space particle detectors were done.Finally, prospect of charged particle identification methods was pointed out .
