流域经济协调有序发展成为目前区域经济发展中新的热点。珠江-西江地区地跨广东、广西两省，一衣带水，但经济发展却极不平衡。原因是旧的发展理念不能解决路通与财通、发展与公平、产业转移与后发崛起这些突出问题。粤桂合作特别试验区的建立是促进珠江-西江经济带协调发展的主要出路。
流域經濟協調有序髮展成為目前區域經濟髮展中新的熱點。珠江-西江地區地跨廣東、廣西兩省，一衣帶水，但經濟髮展卻極不平衡。原因是舊的髮展理唸不能解決路通與財通、髮展與公平、產業轉移與後髮崛起這些突齣問題。粵桂閤作特彆試驗區的建立是促進珠江-西江經濟帶協調髮展的主要齣路。
류역경제협조유서발전성위목전구역경제발전중신적열점。주강-서강지구지과엄동、엄서량성，일의대수，단경제발전각겁불평형。원인시구적발전이념불능해결로통여재통、발전여공평、산업전이여후발굴기저사돌출문제。월계합작특별시험구적건립시촉진주강-서강경제대협조발전적주요출로。
Coordinate and orderly development of basin economy has become a hot topic in the current regional economic devel-opment. Though the valley of Zhujiang River and Xijiang Rivers covers an area connected with Guangdong and Guangxi, the econom-ic development in this area is unbalanced. Because of the old ideas of development, the problems of transportation and financial inte-gration, development and fairness, industrial transfer and later development still remain unsolved. Therefore, the solution to the prob-lems is to promote the harmonious development in the Zhujiang-Xijiang Economic Belt by establishing a special experimental zone through cooperation between Guangdong and Guangxi.
