Miao Quan-sun was an important and knowledgeable person in cultural history the late Qing dy-nasty and early republic of china. He was a polymath man who had made visible achievements in poem、educa-tion and collection of books. Miao Quan-sun was also honored as one of four wits including Wang Ren-qun, Zhang Ji-zhi and Zhao Er-xun. His important achievements in the filed of ancient books was reflected in the compilation of “The bibliography”. After being an official, in the filed of Bibliography, Miao Quan-sun mainly engaged in the Compilation of the third edition of“Yi Feng collection”.
