履行社会责任是影响企业可持续发展的重要因素。文章以2010年我国 A股633家上市公司的企业年报为数据样本，实证分析了企业履行社会责任对可持续发展的影响。研究结果表明，企业社会责任与可持续发展之间存在着显著的正向关系，企业积极履行社会责任从长期看能够改善企业经营绩效，从而促进企业可持续发展。

The fulfillment of enterprises'social responsibility is an important factor affecting their sustainable development.Taking the annual reports of 633 A -share listed companies in China as the data sample , this paper analyzes the effect of companies'fulfillment of social responsibilities on their sustainable development . The empirical results show that the fulfillment of enterprises'social responsibility and their sustainable devel-opment are notably correlated .The enterprises'active fulfillment of the social responsibility can improve the business performance and correspondingly can promote their sustainable development .
