The course of Principles and application of GPS survey is one of the main courses for Surveying and Mapping Engineering major.This course involves relatively intensive technical theory and broad scope of knowledge .Furthermore, its content is being con-stantly enriched .By optimizing the teaching content , changing teaching method , designing practical teaching , and carrying out teach-ing research and practice in this course , this paper improves the teaching quality of this course and gets better teaching results .
