科普场馆是公众提高科学素养和接受非正规教育的重要媒介。伴随我国科普场馆的建设热潮，亟待理清科普场馆发展现状，充分发挥政府公共管理绩效评估在科普场馆事业发展中的促进作用，突破制约科普场馆发展的瓶颈。文章剖析我国科普场馆发展的核心困境，分析科普场馆发展的主要现状，从科普场馆的政策体系、财政供给、管理机制三个方面为优化政府公共管理绩效，促进科普场馆事业良好发展提出建议。

Popular science education venues are important mediums of improving scientific literacy and receiving informal education for the publics. With the boom of building these venues,it is urgently needed to disentangle the current situa-tion,make full use of the promoting role of the government’s public administration performance evaluation,and break through the bottleneck of the development. By analyzing the current situation and core predicament of the development,rec-ommendations are made within 3 aspects of policy system,financial supply and management mechanism in order to optimize the government’s public administration performance and promote the sound development of popular science education ven-ue.
