Two-dimensional hydrodynamic mathematical model is applied to study the generating and the influencing factors of Xi -aohai flood as well as the influence on Xiaohai flood water level after the tidal channel regulation on the basis of analyzing the charac -teristics of Xiaohai areas'flood tide characteristics .It is shown that Xiaohai flood level is not only affected by the flood tide charac-teristics but also affected by the tidal channel's scale.
