高等职业院校具有不同于普通本科院校的特点，它的培养目标、人才规格、人才培养模式都具有自身特色。这些特点决定了它的科研应在产学研结合上下功夫，挖掘广大青年教师的科研潜力，加强青年教师科研能力的培养，鼓励与企业联合进行产品开发和技术改造，注重技术应用研究。

Scientific research is not only one of college’s three functions,but also the embodiment of college’s core competition and the sharp weapon to keep developing. The higher vocational education as the important part of china’s higher education, its scientific research function can’t be ignored.the author carefully analysed the bottlenecks affecting the scientific research of higher vocational colleges through cleaning up its history of development,in addition the author also gave some advice.
