以某客货航线的高速穿浪双体客货运输船为研究对象，以旅客、冷藏箱和小汽车的负载率作为基本变量，以内部收益率作为营运经济性的评价标准，对该船型的营运经济性进行灵敏性分析。分析结果表明，旅客、冷藏箱和小汽车若能保证一定的运载负载率，该船型在该航线的营运可以保证一定的盈利水平，具有较好的经济性。反之，该船型的营运前景是不利的。
