“哈尼梯田”，不仅是一种传统田制，而且为世界提供了一种具有民族生态学意义的山地农耕模式。生态学三大定律为探究红河“哈尼梯田”的民族生态学意义，提供了一个基本的理论框架。红河南岸的哈尼族在长期农耕中积累的朴素的生态学知识，诸如人与自然的关系，森林与水土的关系，水与梯田的关系，梯田与民族生存繁衍的关系等等，均与生态学定律高度吻合。红河南岸哀牢山区森林-溪水-村寨-梯田四度同构的“哈尼梯田”，具有极其重要的民族生态学意义。

“Hani Terraces”is not only a traditional system, but also provides the world a model for a national ecological significance of mountain farming. Ecological study on the three laws to “Hani Trraces” national ecological significance, provides a basic theoretical framwork. Hani’s plain ecological knowledge accumlated in long-term farming, such as the relationship between man and natrue, relationship between forests and water and soil, the water relationship with terraces, the terrce and national survival of the breed relations, and so on, are consistent with the laws of ecology. Forest-Wdaer-Village-Terrce ismorphism of four on the south bank of Red River is a nantional ecological signification of the utmost importance.
