The Yueqingwan port has poor natural environment,such as deep design depth,complicated geological condition and large terminal load,all of which are challenges for pile selection,design and construction.This paper introduces the key factors, solutions and effects in pile selection for the terminals, especially the application of super-long combination pile of large diameter cylinder pile,which can provide the examples of similar projects.
