Typical samples of muddy clay from the Zhujiang River Estuary were obtained, analysis on muddy clay’s mi-crostructure and relevant impacts on comprehensive mechanical behaviors were conducted according to previous engineering practices. Master the special physical value of the muddy clay in the estuary, has very important significance in engineering constructions.
