The study of vibration wave in the casing medium and the attenuation factors was intro-duced,which affected the wave propagation.Based on the vibration wave formula in the free cas-ing based on some elastic mechanics theory,the transmitting law of the vibration wave in the well fluid-casing-cement system was analyzed and the relative attenuation coefficients in different cas-ing strings was calculated.By detecting and analyzing the signal of drilling plug in the second spud,the feasibility and the low attenuation law of vibration wave in the casing were proved,and the attenuation coefficient was obtained,which is similar to the simulation result.
