In the paper, the principle and technology of the conventional and the low moisture wet coke quenching is introduced; mean- while by comparing the water saving effect of the two technologies. It shows that water can be saved 7.5% by adopting the low moisture wet coke quenching which improves and develops the technology of the conventional wet coke quenching.
