随着区域一体化进程的加快，城市的竞争能力已由单一城市的竞争力逐渐转变为城市群都市圈的整体竞争力。因此，城市要想获得更大的发展，需要靠区域的整体实力来提升，形成经济共同体。通过应用潜力模型，研究以长春市为中心的都市圈构建的可行性，可以清晰描绘长春都市圈的构建脉络。

With the speeding up of the regional integration process, competition ability of the city has become overall com-petitiveness of metropolitan circle of urban agglomerations from single city. Therefore, in order to get a bigger development, city needs to rely on regional overall strength and formation of the economic community. By applying potential model, the paper was studied feasibility of constructing Changchun city as the center of city circle, which clearly described the construc-tion circle context of Changchun.
