分别设计了喉口面积相等的矩形截面蜗壳和圆形截面蜗壳,通过数值计算,就两种结构对涡轮性能的影响进行了全工况的比较分析,结果表明,当涡轮采用圆形截面蜗壳时比采用矩形截面蜗壳时的效率高。并通过内部流场的分析揭示了两种蜗壳流动损失差异的原因,为涡轮增压器的进一步开发和匹配提供一定的参考。

This paper designed a rectangular section volute and a circular section volute respectively. And a comparative analysis on the influences of rectangular section volute and circular section volute on turbine performance under all operating conditions has been done by numerical simulation. The results of the simulation show that the efficiency of the turbine with circular section volute is higher than that of the turbine with rectangular section volute, and the mechanism of the internal flow loss and the difference is disclosed by analyzing the flow field. This paper provides certain theoretical references for further development of turbocharger and turbochargers matching activity.
