A hydraulic hybrid vehicle (HHV) is a kind of vehicle driven by both a gas engine and a hydraulic system. Its advantages are energy saving and environmental protection. The paper has made an introduction of its mechani-cal systems, hydraulic system and electric control system. Experimental results show that the electric control system is reasonably designed and basically meets the design requirements.
