The changes in actuating value setting of underground high--voltage leakage protection would lead to malfunction or resist--operation of protection device. The paper probes into the zero--sequence current actua- ting value in ungrounded neutral system of transformer and its setting schemes, and determines the setting method of high--voltage leakage protection depending on the sensibility and reliability of protection operation, which helps to realize the correct actuating value setting of the underground high--voltage leakage protection.
