The catalyst is the most important part in the SCR process system. The performance of catalyst directly affects the whole system efficiency of NOx reduction and the investment and operating cost. This article introduces the SCR principle, which includes the details of catalysts, the main factors of affecting the catalyst activity and preventing measures, the treatment method to catalyst after failure, storage mode and the installation process. Last but not least, we suggest by way of the catalyst test blocks, it can not only predict the service life of the catalyst but also the operation and maintenance of the matters needing attention.
