Combined with the class learning of the course for undergraduates, i.e. modem analysis and testing method, transmission electron microscopy had been employed to find out the serving approaches and role of the large analysis and testing instruments for the undergraduate teaching in materials science. Based on the progress of class learning, different experiments had been designed for the undergraduates with the purpose to let them bridge the abstract theoretical study with concrete instrument operation and experimental result analysis.
