ITCC has been profoundly accepted and perfected since its application in petrochemical industry in 1990s. To ensure that ITCC can play a greater role in practical production of petrochemical industry, and the unit can run stably and safely in a long term, it is necessary to conduct comprehensive and deep investigation on the technology and implementation of ITCC. Based on introduction of ITCC's history, current situation, development trend, composition, configuration, characteristics, working principle and integrated control function, current integrated schemes of ITCC widely used in similar domestic projects are described, design and type selection principles are put forward.
