21世纪是文化的全球性发展和文化的多元性共存并进的时代，高校博物馆要增强文化自觉、文化自省和文化自新意识，可从定位的个性鲜明，展览的主题突出，功能凸显大学文化特色，扬长避短建设网上博物馆，合作共建、协同创新等方面塑造高校博物馆自身文化。发挥好知识传播、文化辐射、文化共享、文化传承等作用，最终达到文化育人、服务社会的目的。

21세기시문화적전구성발전화문화적다원성공존병진적시대，고교박물관요증강문화자각、문화자성화문화자신의식，가종정위적개성선명，전람적주제돌출，공능철현대학문화특색，양장피단건설망상박물관，합작공건、협동창신등방면소조고교박물관자신문화。발휘호지식전파、문화복사、문화공향、문화전승등작용，최종체도문화육인、복무사회적목적。
The 21st century has been witnessing the coexistence and co-development of cultural globalization and cultural diversification, which calls for the strengthening of the cultural consciousness, reflection and renovation of university museums. The culture of university museums can be built f rom the aspects of unique orientation, distinct themes, highlighted university features, optimized online displays, collaborated development, and cooperated innovation. University museums can therefore achieve functions such as communicating knowledge, and spreading, sharing and inheriting culture, and ultimately nurturing talents and serving the society with culture.
