The shear rate γw of the die wall and the cone angle α, β, which were the main factors of effecting on the quality of cable coating layer, were analyzed. In order to make the quality and the efficiency to be optimal, the optimization design of coating die for ca?ble was discussed through calculating the shear rate γw and determining the angle α, β.
