为满足机电行业人才需求，结合学校特色，分析了当前高职教育中机械制造与自动化专业建设存在的问题，制定了特色专业建设的指导思想和发展目标，从人才培养模式、课程建设、师资队伍、实验实训等方面提出了特色专业建设的基本思路和举措，为高职院校机械制造与自动化专业快速形成品牌特色、打造复合型高级技术技能型人才的培养模式提供参考。
