The design features of the circulating pump station for the No.3 1080 m3 blast furnace of Maanshan Changjiang Steel are introduced. The pump station is consisted of three major parts of cold and hot reservoirs, water pump room and operating cabinet and switchboard room, arranged in rectangular parallel. In the water pump room there are soft water and industrial water circulating systems and emergency safety water. Production practice after commissioning has shown that the pump station design can fully meet the requirement of blast furnace production.
