Drilling wastewater, produced mostly in petroleum and nature gas drilling, was one of major wastes. They should be treated harmlessly or utilized comprehensively. The technology research and application progress of treating technique for drilling wastewater were reviewed, and lacking of primary treatment technology in our country, the tendency of the development of it was prospected.
