The organization and fundamental content of inorganic and analytical chemistry experiment competition were introduced. According to the analysis and discussion on the results of the competition, some improvements should be carried out in the usual teaching processes were summerized. The role of inorganic and analytical chemistry experiment competition for cultivating innovation and practical ability was explored to mobilize the enthusiasm of participating in the experiment, promote students'personalized development, and upgrad laboratory.
