改革开放以来，经济的迅速增长对我国体育事业的发展产生了深刻的影响，而体育事业在改善劳动者素质、提高劳动者生活质量、提高劳动生产效率、创造巨额资金收入、缓解社会就业压力等方面做出了重要贡献。从体育事业发展的经济联动效应上看，农村体育事业可以带动其他产业的良性、快速发展。本文以新时期农村经济发展与体育事业的关系为切入点，以新农村体育事业与农村经济发展的互动的关系为主线。深入探讨了新农村体育事业发展应采取的举措与对策，进而揭示出新农村体育事业与新农村经济发展的内在联系，这对今后社会主义新农村建设与体育事业发展具有积极的意义。

Since the reform and opening up, the rapid economic growth has had a profound influence on the de- velopment of sports in China. However, sports career has made important contributions to improving the quality of workers, the quality of life of workers and labor productivity, and creating huge amounts of money income, easing employment pressure, etc. Judging from the economic linkage effects of the development of sports, the other in- dustries can be driven by rapid development of sports in rural areas.
