Reported a mild,palladium-free synthetic protol for the cross-coupling reaction of aryl chlorides and thiols using L-proline and CuI,with K2CO3 as the base,in ionic liquid BF4 at 110 ℃.The protol was particularly noteworthy given its experimental simplicity,high generality,and exceptional level of functional group tolerations and the low cost of the catalyst system.
