The general structure of centralized alarm system is firstly discussed. Then difficult problem in designing centralized alarm system is analyzed. The implementation scheme of the system is introduced in detail,in which the prepositive computer performs interface adaptation for various communication protocols,the analytical server handles alarms and translates them into internal stan~Yard format,the application server executes background processing of data,and the client edits layered architecture of monitoring scene. The centralized alarm system is designed according to the layered scalable concept. It has a good application in rail transit. Finally, test for the design is done and the result proves that the design is right.
