Aiming at the application and development of fault diagnosis technology, this paper discussed the application of fault diagnosis system in transmission line. Firstly the fault diagnosis technology and its application status were analyzed, on the basis of which, the fault diagnosis system of transmission line was designed in detail, and the function design and structure design were pointed out, and the application example was discussed in detail combined with the fault diagnosis rules. All this work is better guidance and significative for enhancing the application level of construction of transmission line fault diagnosis system.
