中国文化中特有的社交称谓人文内涵丰富，表现形式多样，是中国文化发展的浓缩和结晶。考察研究中国社交称谓文化不仅能有助于国外读者嘹望中国社会发展的变迁，而且能有效地促进中英文化的跨文化交际。以《红楼梦》中复杂繁琐的人物社交称谓为例进行探讨。

Social address terms are a typical Chinese culture with its rich humanism connotation and various forms of expression. It is the concentration and crystallization of the development of Chinese culture. Therefore, to do researches on the translation of social addressing terms can not only help foreign readers to invest Chinese social development,hut also promote the English-Chinese cross-cultural communication. We take A Dream of Red Mansions as an example for its abundant and complicated address terms.
