The practice study reveals that the application of special-topic discussion teaching method in physiology class can inspire the students' study interests, develop their abilities both in self-learning and collecting information, analyzing and solving problems, as well as improving their teamwork and integral quality. Further more, it can promote the progress of teaching and studying, the interaction of teacher and students, also it can improve teaching quality.
