This paper describes the importance of scientific research in higher vocational college, because scientific research level of higher vocational colleges is poor, quality of scientific research is low, in order to improve the scientific research work the orientiation and promote the scientific research level in higher vocational college.it proposes that the scientific research work of higher vocational colleges has accurate orientation,meanwhile,we must deal with relationship between the teaching and scientific research work,we must handle with the relationship between scientific research and the professional construction correctly, the scientific research security system must be established.
