德国早期浪漫派所提出的“浪漫主义反讽”，受当时哲学思想的直接影响，其内涵已远远超出了修辞学和文学的范畴而上升到了美学的高度。它所特有的审美原理赋予时代难题以诗意的解答，因而显示出重要的现代审美意义。本文拟以“浪漫主义反讽”的文化背景和基本特征为着眼点，着重探讨这一思想的审美内涵对于现代道德盲点、现代生存分裂现象以及现代“神话”复兴的批判和指导意义。

＂Romantic Irony＂ pronosed by the early school of German romanticists under the direct influence of the philosophi- cal thoughts in that period, has expanded its ideas far beyond the scope of rhetoric and literature to the high level of aesthetics. With its unique aesthetic principles, ＂Romantic Irony＂ provides poetic solutions to the problems of modern times, demonstra- ting significant modern aesthetic implications. This paper, with the cultural background and fundamental characteristics of ＂＇ Romantic Irony＂ as the point of departure, mainly explores its aesthetic functions, including the critique and guidance in re- lation to the modern morality deficit, the modern human nature split and the modern ＂mythology＂ revival.
