The naming of brand names is one of the most important marketing behaviors conducted by the businessmen in this business society.One successful brand name can make positive contribution to the product promotion and market sales.This paper focuses its attention on the brand naming of some comparatively well-known cosmetic products in the recent years,compares and makes evaluation and analysis of some existing brand names in the markets from the perspectives of Linguistics,Business Psychology and Culturology,and then summarizes 14 brand naming approaches.
