thee papr probes into the featnre and principle of CAN communication, combining examples to introduce the diagnoses wavs. Comparing with traditional communication system, the paper points out the differences between them and elaborates the inevitability and advantages of CAN communication. On the base of elaborating principle of CAN communication system and acording to the features of CAN system it expounds the classification of malfunctions, service tool diagnosis proedure and malfunclions confirmalion. It provides the way to solving malfunction in practice.
