中国地域广阔,人口众多,田径的发展因时因地而异。以第9届～第11届全运会田径项目的前3名成绩为研究对象,对近3届全运会主要省市区域竞技实力差异进行分析,总结出中国田径发展不平衡的原因,采取有效措施,优势互补,促进田径项目的健康的发展。

China is a vast,populous country.The development of track and field varies over time.Taking the competition previously three scores at the 9th-11th National Games as the objects for the study,analyzing athletic power of main province,and summarizing the causes of unbalanced development of track and field in China, according to complement each other and principling of the effective allocation of resources,promoting the Chinese track and field to full and healthy development.
